April- I ran a half marathon

When I finished my friends little 4 year old boy asked me, "so, did you win?! " I was like, "um, no, there were like 6,000 people in the race, but I did get a medal!" and he was like "ok, that's cool".
The fam afterwards.

That's right, somehow I got the crazy idea at the end of February that I should run a Half Marathon on Easter weekend. That's right, with only 5 weeks to train, it was a little intense. I had two friends that were much more seasoned runners than I am running in it, but after lots of runs and a crazy month and a half of training, I DID IT!

This is Becca, she rocks and broke 2hrs, I only managed to keep her in eye sight for about the first mile, but it was awesome!
On the last stretch.
Only about half way through...you can tell because I'm still smiling.
One of my training runs in pouring rain, it was awesome, I think it was actually one of my favs because I listened to "Singing in the Rain" on my ipod while I ran.
Hazel chillin in her stroller hanging out with daddy while I ran. Notice her cute outfit and hair that daddy did all by himself, quite impressive!
Hazel just chillin at home with daddy's high lift jacks.

March was a month of visitors, and my birthday!!!

Aubrey, Phillip, and their new little girl Penelope came to visit/job hunt in Boston. We got to play at the Aquarium and wander around downtown. It was such a blast!
Hazel's favorite spot to run to when she escapes out of our patio door. She loves to show off her stairs skills.
Baby Zellie and mama
Granddaddy Q also came for a little visit and Hazel took a liking to him immediately.
Hazel's favorite spot indoors, she loves to climb up on this bench and play with the hanging keys.

Valentines dinner with fillet mignon and asparagus among other things.
My handsome husband planned the most amazing Valentines date to a fantastic restaurant with live Portuguese music, delicious fondue, and a super cool atmosphere, here we are on the way.
Our Valentines ride. Brandon surprised me with this sweet ride! Here we are dropping Hazel off at our friends house before our date.

January...

So here is my attempt to catch up, it's been a while.

Hazel loves electronics, here she is catching up on some emails on daddy's old laptop.
Brandon attempting to entertain Hazel on the way back from our California trip.
Like I said, she loves electronics, she totally passed out playing with my phone one day, so cute!
Hazel and her pal Avannie hanging out in matching dresses.
